Small Business Stands to profit from the woes of big retailers

I’m not looking to spread any gloom or even doom on the current toppling of so many big retailers. It is not good for employment or the real estate market or local communities. But it has been happening in dizzying numbers and it is approaching levels that have not been seen since 2008.

I’m going to assume that big box owners don’t read my drivel and proclaim that there is good news for small, nimble retailers, vendors and the businesses that support us. Even when large retailers operate broken, they are significantly weakened, with no cash for product, staff, development, marketing, etc.

This won’t magically make our lives easier, but I believe it will bring sensational opportunities for good operators that find ways to take advantage of the BIG FOOTPRINT brick and mortar retail downturn.

How to Embrace the No-Makeup Craze and Still Look Gorgeous

Not wearing makeup isn't a welcome idea for some women. In fact, many women aren't too excited about going makeup-less in front of friends, co-workers and strangers.

Recently, however, the no-makeup trend has been picking up steam. This is not just because some women are fed up with being judged on how glammed up they are. Both women and men are truly enamored with the delicate, feminine look of sporting minimal makeup.

Naturally, this has led many gals to simply go sans makeup for a few days. But this is a mistake, because the "no-makeup look" is not achieved simply by going without makeup.

Such behaviors cause stress and panic. However, if you are mad at your dog, his behavior is likely to get worse, unless he's afraid of you, and that's probably not what you want. Luckily, you can form a happy bond with him if you swap your irritation for calmness.
